Typing on the keyboard is a charm, and using the backlight is extremely helpful in low-light environments. It’s unclear why Apple removed the backlight from the keyboard in last year’s Air lineup, and its return is most welcome. Like all other non-iPhone and iPod Apple products, the Air has some sharp edges to be wary of.
